Antique Tibetan Bronze Portarait of a Lama
An antique Tibetan portrait figure of a Lama, probably a Drikung Kagyu heirarch.Cast bronze with extensive copper inlays. The Lama wearing a distinctive hat worn by Drikung lamas and wearing a highly chased and elaborately decorated robe is seated in dhyanasana and holds his hand in bhumisparsa mudra.
Circa 14th/15th century
